Hannah Jarvis – Pupil

Introduction

Hannah Jarvis began a specialist family law pupillage in October 2025 under the supervision of William Horwood and Victoria Edmonds.

Hannah joined St Philips as a pupil after completion of the bar course at the University of Law in Birmingham. Prior to the bar course, Hannah has completed a mini pupillage observing public and private children matters.

Prior to pupillage, Hannah volunteered at a children’s contact centre in Burton on Trent where she assisted in providing a supported contact service to families in the Midlands. As part of her Master’s at the University of Law, Hannah completed pro-bono work for Women’s Aid through the legal support service FLOWS, volunteering on the telephone line to triage domestic abuse victims and ensure they were directed to appropriate support. Hannah worked on referrals received by FLOWS, assisting clients in securing non-molestation orders by helping them complete the CourtNav application form.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time in the countryside with her family.

Hannah will be accepting instruction in Family law from 1 April 2026.
