We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.

Keiron McCabe, instructed by Faizan Sadiq of Greens Solicitors, recently appeared in a fact-finding where all 11 allegations of domestic abuse were found in his client’s favour.
The case concerned allegations of a prolonged pattern of domestic abuse being perpetrated by the father against the mother, and separately against the children. It featured one parent with cognitive difficulties, and earlier contempt of court proceedings. Of interest is the discussion of how the court was not constrained by the findings sought by either parent in reaching its determination, and how court proceedings themselves can be weaponised as a means of furthering abuse against victims.
