James Puzey Prosecutes UK's Largest Pipeline Operator

James Puzey, Head of St Philips Regulatory, has recently prosecuted the UK’s largest fuel pipeline operator, Exolum PS Limited, for offences of failing to ensure workers’ safety under the Health and Safety at Work Act.

The offences occurred during the excavation of a pipeline carrying petrol at high pressure which was leaking. After a three-week trial at Grimsby Crown Court the Company was convicted and fined £2.3m.
