Anna Peaston [Pupil] Family

Introduction

Anna commenced a specialist family pupillage in October 2018 under the supervision of Christopher Watson, Robin Lewis and Jonathan Nosworthy.

In the year before commencing pupillage, Anna worked as a paralegal in the family law department of a firm in London. Anna assisted on matters in all areas of family law and her work included advising and representing clients in applications for domestic violence injunctions, attending court to take a note and representing clients at Public Law Outline meetings.

Prior to her paralegal role, Anna worked in business development at a charity working with offenders and their families. In addition, Anna has held voluntary positions including: Information Service Volunteer with Stonewall, providing information on issues affecting the LGBT community, Volunteer Advocate with the Communities Empowerment Network representing families contesting a child’s exclusion from school, and with Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers.

In her spare time, Anna is a keen dancer and enjoys cooking and travelling.
