St Philips Chambers is delighted to announce that Vithyah Chelvam has accepted tenancy within our Criminal and Regulatory Groups following the completion of her Probationary Tenancy.

On confirming Vithyah’s tenancy, Senior Regulatory Clerk James Withers commented:

“Vithyah has impressed since she joined Chambers as a probationary tenant in October of last year. She has engaged in work across the spectrum of Regulatory law and has proven herself to be a talented advocate. We are delighted that she has now accepted an offer of tenancy; we’re all very excited to watch her continue to flourish as a junior Regulatory barrister.”

Speaking further on the news, Senior Criminal Clerk Andrew Rourke said:

“Vithyah is someone I have respected for some time so I am absolutely thrilled to welcome her as a tenant to our Criminal Group. The wider team and I remain focussed on expanding our already highly experienced Criminal group, Vithyah forms an integral part of that continued growth.”

Vithyah can be instructed for regulatory matters via that groups clerking team: regulatory@st-philips.com, 0121 246 7055 or for criminal matters: crime@st-philips.com, 0121 246 0200.
