Following the trial of an organised crime gang at Bolton Crown Court seven defendants have been convicted and now sentenced. The defendants included Stephanie Heaps who was convicted of two offences of misconduct in a public office following her relationship with Mr Ramsden who was a serving life prisoner during her employment as a prison officer and then a police officer.
The pair were also convicted, along with the other defendants, of conspiring to commit burglary and money laundering. Both received custodial sentences.
