We are delighted to confirm that Jack Best, Chevan Ilangaratne, Amanprit Kaur, Miranda Lopez and Meredith Rawsthorne have joined St Philips as tenants following the successful completion of their pupillages.

Jack, Miranda and Meredith join our Family Law group, Chevan joins our Employment and Clinical Negligence/Personal Injury Law groups and Amanprit joins our Business and Property group.

On announcing the five new tenants, Chambers Director Joe Wilson said:

“Jack, Chevan, Amanprit, Miranda and Meredith have all demonstrated the skills and, importantly, ambition to build a thriving practice in their areas of specialism. I, as well as all Chambers’ members and staff, wish them every success for a long and successful career at the Bar.

At St Philips, we only offer pupillages where there is a genuine opportunity for tenancy so I am delighted that, once again, this set of pupils have gone on to be offered and accept tenancy.”

Ali Tabari, barrister and head of the pupillage committee at St Philips, also commented:

“Each of our new tenants has made excellent progress throughout the year, and we are very

proud that they are now full members of chambers. This excellent result vindicates the structured and considered way we operate pupillage at St Philips, as recognised in the recent Legal 500 Future Lawyers survey, in which chambers was scored 90-100% in eight categories, including quality of work, relationships with clerks and senior members of chambers, and inclusiveness.”

More details about our new tenants can be found via their website profile or by contacting their clerks.
