St Philips Chambers named Bronze Pro Bono Patron of Advocate

We are pleased to announce that we have become a Bronze Pro Bono Patron of Advocate, the Bar’s national pro bono charity.

Advocate matches members of the public who cannot afford legal representation or access legal aid with barristers willing to give their time and expertise free of charge. The Pro Bono Patron Scheme enables chambers, firms and individuals to help fund this work across all courts and tribunals in England and Wales.

Our support as a Bronze Patron reflects a long-standing commitment at St Philips to access to justice. Members of chambers regularly take on pro bono instructions through Advocate, covering a broad range of practice areas, and we are proud to back the wider infrastructure that makes that work possible.
