We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.
William Horwood was recently instructed to represent a cricket club in a disciplinary appeal. A points deduction had been imposed on the club for bringing the game into disrepute. William successfully argued that the points deduction imposed was excessive. The appeals panel set aside the points deduction originally imposed and substituted a lesser points deduction.
The full Outcome of Appeal can be found here.
William is happy to accept instructions in all areas of sports and regulatory law.
