St Philips Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Smith QC as Head of Chambers.

Andrew is a heavyweight criminal silk, who is frequently instructed in cases of gravity and complexity that attract national media coverage. Commenting on his new role in Chambers, Andrew said:

“I am proud to be elected head of St Philips Chambers. I would like to thank my predecessor, Avtar Khangure QC, for his hard work and dedication during his term. He leaves us firmly established as leaders in the Birmingham and Leeds markets. We shall now build upon our position as a truly national set of chambers.”
