Andrew Bainham’s published work on legal parentage has been significantly cited by the Law Commission in its recent consultation paper on reforming the law governing surrogacy arrangements.

See ‘Building families through surrogacy: A new law’ Law Commission Consultation paper 244 and Scottish Law Commission Discussion Paper 167 (June 6th, 2019).

The consultation period closes on 27th September 2019.
