We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.
Our expertise extends to financial provision on death and claims for the maintenance of children.
Our approach
Financial disputes on relationship breakdown carry significant financial and emotional cost. We combine thorough preparation and sensitive advocacy with the pragmatism these cases demand. Every case is different; the standard we bring is not.
Scope of work
We advise and represent clients across the full spectrum of financial remedy cases, from high-net-worth matters involving complex asset structures, family businesses, companies, trusts, pensions, third-party interests and injunctive relief to limited-asset cases where a practical, cost-effective resolution is essential.
Early involvement
We are experienced in advising at the pre-proceedings stage and in working as part of a team with instructing solicitors throughout the court-led process. In our experience, the best outcomes follow from early involvement and continuity of counsel.
Recognition
Members of the team are ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners UK. The team also includes Recorders and Deputy District Judges. We are active contributors to Resolution events and regular participants in both internal and external seminars.
St Philips Family Finance is an experienced, nationally instructed team committed to providing specialist advice and representation of the highest standard.
