West Mercia Police praise Rebecca Wade KC in rape case that was “exceptionally well prosecuted”

Rebecca Wade KC prosecuted Royston Gill who was found guilty of multiple non-recent sexual offences committed against more than one child in Worcester between September 1996 and February 2002.

The defendant pleaded not guilty but in what West Mercia Police have referred to as an “exceptionally well prosecuted” case, Gill was found guilty on 10 counts and subsequently sentenced to 21 years.
