St Philips Chambers are delighted to announce that Francis Mortin has joined their Employment Team as a Third Six pupil

Francis Mortin is a recent transfer to the bar having practiced as a Solicitor Advocate at renowned international law firm Addleshaw Goddard since 2018.

He has considerable experience advising on high value, high stakes issues for high net worth clients.

Francis is accepting instructions across the employment spectrum. As an advocate, Francis has acted for both Claimants and Respondents in Employment Tribunals across the UK and has particular experience dealing with sensitive cases involving workplace discrimination and whistleblowing.

In terms of drafting and advisory work, Francis has a wealth of experience in this area having advised on large scale projects for international employers which involves hundreds if not thousands of employees.

As a former Solicitor, Francis is acutely aware of the pressures faced by his professional clients. He is known to be very personable and brings a positive attitude with a professional mindset. Working with individuals and businesses,  Francis has a particularly commercial mindset and firmly focuses on the bigger picture of a matter, tempering advice to his professionals clients (and lay clients) accordingly.
