We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.

Many congratulations to Shaniqua McKenzie, a pupil barrister within our Employment, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Group, on completing Advocate’s Pupil Pledge through her pro bono work advising and representing clients in discrimination matters.
As part of her pledge, Shaniqua successfully represented a claimant in the Employment Appeal Tribunal, appearing against King’s Counsel in a case subsequently featured in the Lexis Employment Current Awareness Alert. She also advised on a County Court discrimination claim concerning allegations of racial stereotyping in the school playground.
For enquiries or to instruct Shaniqua, please contact the clerks at employment&pi@st-philips.com.
