Did you know that some members of St Philips Business & Property Group can offer Private Financial Dispute Resolution appointments by arrangement in any area of dispute suitable for such resolution?  In particular in disputes involving related parties such as:

A private FDR offers the parties the opportunity of fast-tracking their case for an early neutral evaluation by one of our experienced legal practitioners, many of whom in addition to being barristers are both skilled mediators, Recorders and  Deputy District Judges very familiar with this form of dispute resolution.

Benefits of a private FDR:

  • Guaranteed evaluator of your choosing
  • It can take place in relaxed and comfortable surroundings either at St Philips’ own suite of conference rooms or at a venue of the clients’ choice.
  • They can be held remotely by video
  • The convenience of being at a date and time to suit the clients, for example pre-action or after a first directions appointment.
  • The parties will have the benefit of an evaluator who has had the time to read the bundle thoroughly and understood all the issues, and who can give their undivided attention to the parties for the entire duration of the FDR appointment.
  • Parties will have the flexibility of working to their own dynamic during the course of the day, without having to fit in with the court timetable.

The cost savings of a bespoke FDR at a time and place to suit both the nature of the case and the wishes of the clients can be considerable, with the success rate and client satisfaction typically high.
