We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Gidney has been appointed as a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) and will be deployed to the London Central Tribunal with effect from 20th April 2023.
Jonathan has been a highly respected member of our employment group for many years leading on cases which have had a precedential effect on Covid-19 dismissals, menopause, judicial bias and holiday pay.
All at St Philips would like to congratulate Jonathan on his appointment and wish him every success in his new role.
Commenting on Jonathan’s appointment, Head of the St Philips Employment Group Ed Beever said:
“I wish Jon the very best in the next stage of his career. He has been a fundamental part of our success here at St Philips employment and he will be sorely missed by all who have experienced his generosity in the time and the support he has provided to his colleagues over the years. We will watch and applaud his continued success!”
