Jennifer Josephs, leading Rupert Jones of Citadel Chambers, successfully prosecuted a multi-defendant case involving the production and supply of millions counterfeit Xanax tablets in Wolverhampton Crown Court. There were 10 Defendants who either pleaded guilty, or were convicted after trial. The case related to the sale of approximately £4 million worth of counterfeit medication on the dark web, trading in cryptocurrency, with the fake tablets being manufactured in make-shift factories around the West Midlands.
