Three brothers have been convicted of the murder of 22-year-old Mohammed Khan, with a fourth man convicted of his manslaughter, following a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court which concluded on 4 February 2026.

The victim had initiated the violence but was then attacked, repeatedly stabbed, kicked, and punched in broad daylight. The prosecution relied on footage filmed by passers-by. The jury had to consider substantial legal issues, including joint participation, causation, and self-defence.

Zain Raja, and his brothers Asad Iftakhar and Hassan Iftakhar, were convicted of murder. Their cousin, Amaan Khan, was convicted of manslaughter. Sentencing is to follow.

Jennifer Josephs KC led Cathlyn Orchard of Number 5 Chambers for the prosecution.
