As more employees begin to return to the workplace, so the range of employment law issues arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic is set to increase. This talk aims to take a practical look at some of the issues facing practitioners in advising our clients, including:

• Compulsory testing
• Vaccination status
• Whether employers can force employees to return to the workplace and the potential claims that might be brought by “reluctant returners”
• Employees failing to comply with COVID health and safety measures
• “Long COVID” and its discrimination implications
• The handling of redundancy/restructuring exercises as the CJRS comes to an end
• Absences from work for different COVID-related reason
