Bar Pro Bono Award Shortlisting for William Horwood

Many congratulations to William Horwood, a member of our Family Group, who has just been announced on the shortlist for the “Junior Pro Bono Barrister of the Year” category at the 2024 Bar Pro Bono Awards.

William’s shortlisting is a hugely merited acknowledgement of the work he undertakes, going above and beyond expectations through undertaking pro bono work.

Access to justice for all is only possible when barristers such as William dedicate a portion of their already busy diaries to provide their expertise to people who otherwise would not be able to afford appropriate representation.

William is no stranger to recognition of his pro-bono work having been honoured with the Birmingham Law Society Pro Bono Award in 2023.
