Tom Clarke

Introduction

Tom Clarke joined St Philips Chambers in early 2014 having enjoyed a successful 10 year career as a private banker at a multi-national bank, where he was responsible for a multi-million pound portfolio of clients. He passed the Chartered Banker exam in 2013 and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Bankers

Tom is responsible for the accounts team at St Philips and oversees all aspects of the day to day finances of Chambers. He is responsible for the delivery of all financial reporting for St Philips.

Tom also manages the Fee Collection team and is responsible for the fee collection processes of St Philips across both of our sites. He has an excellent relationship with our clients and has a reputation for being user friendly and pragmatic when it comes to fee related matters.

In addition, Tom reports directly to the Chambers Director and the board on all aspects of chambers income and finances. He sits on the management team and assists with the strategic development of chambers. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and The Legal Practice Management Association

Tom enjoys travelling and has travelled extensively across Asia and Central & South America. He was also (and claims still is) an excellent footballer, although is a little vague when asked why he isn’t a professional footballer now.
