April Beech
April Beech

Introduction

April Beech accepted tenancy in April 2025 after successfully completing her Crime and Regulatory pupillage under the supervision of Amy Jackson.

Before pupillage, April worked in Prison Law at Purcell Parker, representing prisoners before the Parole Board and in adjudications and applications for recategorisation.

After reading History at Cardiff University, April was awarded the Queen Mother Scholarship by Middle Temple to complete her law conversion. While at the University of Law in Birmingham, she won the Mooting Competition and was a finalist in the Plea in Mitigation Competition. The Inn awarded her a Certificate of Honour for her performance on the BPC.

During her Master’s, April worked pro bono for Women’s Aid and Citizens Advice. She also volunteered for SOS!SEN, providing legal advice to the parents and carers of children with SEN. April has first-hand experience caring for a sibling with learning difficulties and is, therefore, well-placed to represent vulnerable clients with complex needs.

April likes to travel and spent a year studying in Prague. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, belly-dancing, swimming, writing poetry, and helping out at her church.
