

Abigail joined Chambers from the South Eastern Circuit, where she completed pupillage and developed a broad civil practice. Having recently relocated to the Midlands, Abigail accepts instructions across the full range of the Business & Property Group’s work, with particular experience and interest in Real Estate and Private Client matters, including property disputes, landlord and tenant issues and related advisory work.
Abigail advises and represents clients in a range of contentious matters. She has experience drafting statements of case and written advice, attending conferences and representing clients at hearings, including interim applications, small claims, fast track matters and final hearings.

Before coming to the Bar, Abigail gained significant practical litigation experience as a County Court Advocate, representing both claimants and defendants in a wide range of civil hearings. She also worked as a property litigation paralegal at Osbornes Law, assisting senior lawyers on complex residential and commercial property disputes, before joining Shoosmiths where she had conduct of a substantial landlord and tenant caseload.
This experience has given Abigail a strong understanding of litigation in practice, from initial advice and case preparation through to advocacy and client management. She adopts a practical and commercial approach, with a focus on providing clear advice and effective representation for clients.
Alongside developing her practice, Abigail remains committed to pro bono work and recognises the importance of access to justice.
