Ben Close leading Matthew Cullen successfully prosecuted the trial of a courier of 107kg of high-purity cocaine, in what is believed to be amongst Leicestershire’s largest ever drug seizures.

The wholesale value of the drugs was between £3.75m and £4.3m, with a street value many times that amount.

Jamie Gough was convicted by a jury following a trial, and on 15/3/23 sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment.
