St Philips Barristers, Kevin Hegarty QC and Simon Phillips have been briefed to prosecute a woman accused of killing her mother, in a case where, so far, the body has not been found.

Lucy Fox has been charged with murdering her mother Judith Fox, known as Judy, in Shifnal between June 12 and June 14 this year.

The trial is due to start in November 2020 at Stafford Crown Court.

Judith Fox’s body had not been found by the time of the preliminary hearing on 19th June and the investigation continues.

The defendant was told she faces a trial in the week beginning November 30.

The 38-year-old is also charged with arson with intent to endanger life at a property belonging to Nicholas Fox in Apley Park, Bridgnorth.

She was remanded in custody until July 14. There was no application for bail.
