Following a seven-day trial, Blondel Thompson’s client was acquitted of multiple counts of historical sexual abuse spanning five years.

The indictment contained numerous counts of rape and other sexual offences. It was alleged that the defendant groomed, controlled and sexually assaulted the complainant, who was a teenager, shortly after offering her a home.

Blondel was instructed by Richard Baker of Carter Osbourne Solicitors.
