St Philips Chambers are delighted to announce that Sharon Hughes has joined their Personal Injury Team.
Sharon advises and represents both Claimants and Defendants. She is regularly instructed in small claims, interim hearings and fast track trials arising from road traffic accidents and has a particular interest in credit hire disputes.
Sharon completed her pupillage at the Bar of Ireland and went on to develop a mixed civil practice at the Irish Bar, primarily in personal injury litigation and property disputes. She regularly appeared before the High Court as well as Circuit and District courts, representing county councils, insurers and private individuals. She also represented children in personal injury claims where the Personal Injuries Assessment Board (PIAB) had made an award.
Andrew Evans, Head of the Personal Injury Group welcomes Sharon and said “I am sure that Sharon will continue to develop a successful personal injury practice at St Philips and will be very popular with the specialist firms that instruct us.”
