Philip Beardwell has prosecuted a case in which the defendant, Ethan Oliver, admitted committing grievous bodily harm with intent after deliberately driving his car into Kylveer Hussain Shabbir in the early hours of the morning of October 15, 2021 on Station Street, Burton upon Trent.

Oliver was sentenced to nine years in prison at Stoke on Trent Crown Court.
