We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.

Peter Haynes KC recently paid a visit to the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Alfonse Chigamoy Owiny-Dollo, in his role as lead counsel to Joseph Kony.
Alongside Legal Assistant Professor Yvonne McDermott Rees and Consultant Abigail Bridgman, Peter briefed the Chief Justice on their presence in Uganda in relation to the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) decision to proceed with charges against Joseph Kony in his absence.
In June, Peter was assigned to represent Joseph Kony, the Commander-in-Chief of the Lord’s Resistance Army and the first person to be indicted by the ICC back in 2002.
