Kevin Hegarty KC has successfully prosecuted a teenager for the murder of 13-year-old Jahziah Coke.
Jahziah was found fatally stabbed in a house in Oldbury, near Birmingham, in August 2024. The defendant, who denied the murder, fled the scene but was later arrested. A jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court returned a guilty verdict on Friday.
Sentencing is due in June.
