Julie Duane represented the Respondent in the Employment Appeal Tribunal in successfully defending a Rule 3(10) application by the Claimant.
The original claims concerned allegations of race discrimination and unfair dismissal and the Claimant’s original appeal was originally rejected by the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
The Claimant then submitted an application under Rule 3(10) to appeal that decision. The application was dismissed on the basis that the Claimant had not provided good/exceptional reasons for the default.
