Huge congratulations this morning go to employment barrister Sophie Garner who picked up the prestigious “Barrister of the Year” award at last night’s Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards. This success followed 24 hours on from Sophie being highly commended in the “DE&I Champion of the Year in a Legal Role” category at the Women and Diversity in Law Awards.

These accolades are not just recognition of the expertise Sophie delivers to her legal clients but also an important acknowledgement of the often unheralded work that Sophie undertakes for the wider community, particularly in the area of diversity, equality and social mobility.
