We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.

Darron Whitehead, led by David Mason KC of No5 Barristers Chambers, prosecuted a Coventry University student accused of killing her newborn baby. The student, who had kept the pregnancy hidden, gave birth to the child in her student accommodation before placing the baby into a cereal box, then inside a sealed bag and then into her suitcase.
The jury rejected infanticide and convicted the student of murder. A life sentence, with a minimum prison term of 17 years, was handed down at Warwick Crown Court on Friday.
