We are pleased to announce that, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill, Ben Close has been appointed as a Recorder by the King.

Ben has been assigned to sit on the Midland Circuit dealing with Criminal matters.

His appointment will take effect from 18 November 2024.
