St Philips Employment is delighted to share the news that the Ministry of Justice has just announced the appointment of Sarah George as a Salaried Employment Judge. https://www.judiciary.uk/announcements/appointment-of-a-salaried-employment-judge-of-the-employment-tribunals-england-and-wales-george/.

This is fantastic news and is a well-deserved appointment for Sarah. Called in 1991, Sarah has been a fundamental part of the growth of the specialist employment practice group at St Philips and an inspiration and role model for colleagues. In Sarah’s case it is in fact true to say that she literally “wrote the book” as she is co-author and editor of Discrimination in Employment by Tucker and George which remains a leading practitioner text, and was an editor for the Equality Law Reports. “Her insight, wisdom and support has been constant over the years”, says Ed Beever, Head of Employment, “and Sarah will be incredibly missed but we know she will excel in the next phase of her judicial career”.
