We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.

We are delighted to announce that the Lord Chancellor has appointed Ed Beever as a salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales).
Ed will be taking up the role from 1st October 2026, upon which he will be known as Employment Judge Beever. Ed, who served both as Deputy Head of Chambers and as a longstanding Head of the Employment Group, is well-known to many of our clients not only for his breadth of legal knowledge and outstanding intelligence, but for his wisdom, kindness and good humour. He will be sorely missed by members of chambers, but our loss is the gain of the administration of justice.
We send him our warmest congratulations and best wishes in his new appointment.
