Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Location: Central Birmingham, office-based with occasional UK travel
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1730 with flexibility required for evening and occasional weekend work (time off in lieu provided)
Salary: £25,000
THE ROLE
As one of two Marketing & Events Executives, you will play a pivotal role in executing our marketing strategy and managing a wide array of events, including seminars, conferences, and hybrid events. Working closely with the wider Marketing and Events team, your responsibilities will include:
Marketing Campaigns
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging content for social media, email, and other digital platforms.
- Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely updates to the website.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Event Coordination
- Plan, organise, and deliver events, ensuring every detail is meticulously managed.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, technology, catering, and attendee communications.
- Manage event registration, track attendance, and gather post-event feedback.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams, including management, clerks, and barristers.
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure quality of service and manage budgets.
- Work with the finance team to ensure prompt and accurate processing of invoices.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A degree in marketing (or related field) or at least one year of experience in a marketing or corporate events role.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing channels, ideally in a B2B context (email, SEO, content, social media, video).
- Excellent copywriting skills and proficiency in tools such as WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Teams is desired.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
