Marcus is a well-established criminal barrister with extensive Crown Court experience. He appears for both the Crown and Defence and has been instructed alone as well as led junior counsel.

Instructed to defend in a double attempted murder, involving two separate incidents where D doused elderly males in petrol outside mosques before setting them alight. Case in the Terrorism List.
Led junior for the defence in a multi-handed Ponzi-scheme fraud. Involves 11 defendants across three trials. The allegation is fraud by abuse of position and false representation in excess of £24 million.
Led junior for one of the principle defendants in a 9-handed conspiracy to murder trial lasting 3 months. Drive by shooting following history of violence between two groups in the Dudley area.
Led junior for the defence in a legally and medically complex murder. D already serving a 20 year sentence for causing GBH to the (now) deceased by driving a car in to him. Prosecution took four years to decide to charge with murder due to complexity of medical evidence.
