Clare Rennie began a specialist Pupillage in Crime in May 2022 under the supervision of Ben Williams and has been available to take instructions since 21 November 2022.

Clare is listed on the CPS Crown Court General Crime Panel at Level 1.

She is interested in developing a practice in the Youth Courts and Education, particularly pupil exclusions.

Before joining St Philips, Clare was an English teacher at an all-boys secondary comprehensive school in Birmingham. She studied English Literature at University before beginning her legal training in Nottingham. Clare continues to mentor students from underrepresented backgrounds in her spare time and began LawForAll in 2020, a textbook donation service which supports law students who are struggling financially.

Outside of work, Clare is an avid football fan and festival goer.
