On Saturday 27th September 2014, St Philips Chambers, together with the Bar Council and Aston University, held their annual “How to get to the Bar” career event aimed at sixth form students who are considering a career in law. Over 70 people attended the event and enjoyed talks and group sessions with a Judge, Barristers, Queen’s Council, the Bar Council, a Law Lecturer and Law Ambassadors from Aston University.

The event continues to raise the profile of the Bar among students and helps to reduce barriers to entry caused by a lack of awareness about the profession.
