St Philips is proud to announce that former member of Chambers, Emma Kelly (formally District Judge Kelly) has been appointed a Senior Circuit Judge, Designated Civil Judge, based at Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre. Her appointment is effective from 18th January 2021.

Her Honour Judge Kelly was formally welcomed this morning by former member of Chambers and Presiding Judge of the Midland Circuit, Mr Justice Pepperall. Other speakers, included the Senior Presiding Judge, Lady Justice Thirlwall, Birmingham Law Society President, Inez Brown; and our very own John Randall QC, who spoke on behalf of the Bar.

We would like to wish Her Honour Judge Kelly every success in her new role.
