All at St Philips would like to congratulate our former Head of Chambers, HHJ Andrew Smith KC following confirmation of his appointment by The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill, as Senior Circuit Judge, Resident Judge based at Birmingham Crown Court, with effect from 1 July 2025.

This appointment sees HHJ Andrew Smith KC succeed another former member of Chambers, HHJ Inman KC.
