The Bar Placement Scheme is in full swing this week and we are delighted to be involved again this year by welcoming Iraj Iman and Vyvian Okoro to Chambers to experience the life of a barrister first-hand.

The week has seen Iraj and Vivian shadow barristers both in chambers and in court. As part of the scheme, they will also receive training from the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.

To deliver the scheme, the Bar Council works with Pathways to Law and the Social Mobility Foundation with places awarded based on; quality of application, demonstrated commitment to and interest in a career as a barrister and fulfilment of social mobility criteria.

Applications for 2024 are closed but you can find out more about the Bar Placement Scheme here >>>
