Gavin McLeod achieves Society of Trusts & Estates Practitioners worldwide excellence award

Congratulations to Gavin McLeod who has achieved a Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) worldwide Excellence Award, granted to the highest scorers in each of the STEP assessments. Gavin’s 2023 essay on letters of wishes in relation to wills was one of three worldwide which achieved the top mark in that assessment.

Together with Christopher Buckingham and John Aldis, Gavin is presently undertaking the series of assessments for full membership of STEP, the international body for trusts and estates practitioners.

The three of them aim to complete the required assessments within the next year. As part of this, Christopher Buckingham has also achieved a distinction mark in his taxation of trusts and estates exam whilst John Aldis obtained the same grade in his administration of trusts exam.
