Reporting to the Chambers Director and Chambers’ committees, this newly created role will manage Chambers’ processes for ensuring compliance with its regulatory and statutory duties and responsibilities and will be responsible for the planning and implementation of Chambers’ equality and inclusion programmes.

The role has responsibility for all relevant policies, procedures, and information, ensuring they are always current and compliant – acknowledging where they can be improved or changed and communicating this effectively. The Compliance, Equality and Inclusion Manager also acts as Chambers’ Diversity Data Officer, Data Protection Manager and has shared responsibility for the creation and implementation of policies and procedures for data security and IT.

Suitable candidates will already be working in a compliance role, (or it represents a significant element of their current position) in a legal or similar professional services environment. They will possess outstanding communication skills and be capable of sharing information quickly and effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. They will be meticulous and highly organised.
