Barry is a senior Employment law Barrister, and pupil supervisor. He specialises in all aspects of Employment law and has done so for over 20 years. Barry has appeared in the Legal 500 for the last 4 consecutive years,commended for his employment law discrimination expertise. He has held senior academic and equality and Diversity positions as a University Governor. In 2018,  Barry was Stonewalls Northwest senior Equality champion of the year and is an LGBTA+ role model; he is also a director and trustee of a Multi academy trustand an international civil & commercial mediator.

He has noteworthy experience in high-profile discrimination cases as well as a host of other issues encompassing the full spectrum of employment law. He receives particular praise for his commercial, user-friendly style.
