Introduction
Since completing her pupillage in 2005 Victoria Edmonds has specialised in family law. Victoria is known for her meticulous preparation and ability to put clients at ease, showing empathy for the issues of importance to them, no matter how small.
Victoria deals with a variety of cases, from modest cases with limited assets to complex cases involving substantial assets, partnerships, corporate assets and land and property in foreign jurisdictions. Victoria understands the importance to the client of the outcome of the case regardless of the amount at stake.
Her clients include business people and entrepreneurs, members of the legal profession, members of the medical profession, as well as accountants and financiers. She has represented clients through the Official Solicitor, clients with significant learning difficulties, disabilities, and those with different cultural backgrounds.
Whilst recognising the benefits of negotiation and compromise Victoria is a determined and forthright advocate who is always willing and prepared to fight for the client.
Victoria accepts instructions on behalf of Husbands, Wives and interveners, intervening in cases on behalf of companies and family members.
Victoria also sits as a Judge in Private FDR hearings.

Victoria provides specialist financial advice and representation on relationship breakdown practising exclusively in all aspects of financial work whether in relation to married couples, unmarried couples or civil partnerships.
Victoria’s practice covers all aspects of matrimonial finance provision with an emphasis on high value cases often involving complex trust and business structures and third party interveners.
Victoria also accepts instructions in relation to financial provision pursuant to Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 and TOLATA.
Victoria is a determined advocate who is renowned for her meticulous preparation, detailed knowledge and grasp of complex case papers. Forensic examination of complex accounting, business and trust structures is applied by Victoria to her thorough and penetrative cross examination.
Victoria always builds a good rapport with clients, even if meeting them for the first time on the day of the hearing, be it a multi-millionaire business owner or someone struggling on a limited income. Victoria is particularly adept at managing difficult clients /opponents.
In Court, Victoria has a reputation for being tenacious and fearless and will fight whenever settlement is not in the client’s best interest, but, will also give realistic advice and work tirelessly to achieve the best outcome where settlement is in the client’s best interest.
