Olivia Beesley [Pupil] Crime

Introduction

Olivia commenced a specialist criminal pupillage under the supervision of Ben Williams in October 2018.

Before starting pupillage, Olivia studied Theology and Religion at the University of Birmingham, using some of this time to study abroad in America. Following this, she undertook a Law degree at the University of Birmingham. In her spare time she wrote articles for Redbrick,the university newspaper. While studying for the BPTC she helped represent a young mother in the family court.

During her studies, she volunteered as a Children’s Worker at a summer camp each year, which was complimented by her employment at the Walt Disney Company. She has worked in travel and tourism, spending time engaging with customers from across the globe on a daily basis. From this work, she has found that she enjoys interacting with people from a plethora of different backgrounds and experiences in life.

In her free time she likes drawing, art and travelling.
