Disciplinary Tribunals & Professional Regulation

Emma has a particular interest in proceedings before disciplinary tribunals.

Emma has experience of appearing before the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and acts for both the Nursing and Midwifery Council and for Registrants. She is on the Nursing and Midwifery Council External Counsel Panel and as such has a good understanding of the way in which the Nursing and Midwifery Council presents its case before the Tribunal. Emma has experience of interim orders as well as substantive hearings, and recently appeared in a five day hearing for a nurse charged with various allegations of misconduct.

Emma is keen to expand this area of her practice and, although based in Birmingham, she is quite willing to travel.
